Hot Swap a hard drive

So I think that I am going to need to manage lots of data, especially when I start to collect video clips of my shows.

Video will quickly fill a regular external hard drive, so I'm thinking about a HD jukebox, connected with either a firewire or cat5. Does anyone have experience with any of these, especially the ones from Granite Digital?
