Man juggles way into records

Neat story, most interesting to me was that prior to 1936 juggling was an Olympic sport. I'd say bring it back but then all those little kids would expect even more from us mere theatrical jugglers :)

Bobby Fischer's website

What can I say about this site? Bobby Fischer is a genius, and insane. On the chessboard his logic and decision-making is legendary, in real life, he seems like a ranting, raving lunatic.

Which is the real Bobby Fischer? I dunno, but his web site is a trip.

Philosophy Papers :: The Basic Ideas

So I'm in the middle of redoing my file cabinets, and I came across a folder of papers from a Philosophy of Law class that I took in college. It was a great class, and naturally, I googled my instructor. He was a grad student at the time, and I figured he's teaching somewhere. He's in Illinois, where he has this neat little guide to writing Philosphy papers. Check it out:

And no, I didn't email him to say hi. I mean, it was nearly ten years ago (Summer 1996) that I took the class. And I can't remember what grade I got . . . . why bother the man. He's obviously busy.

Rare Earth Magnets - Woodcraft.com

There are a lot of cool tricks that can be done with these magnets. They are about $11 each. Anyone have a better price?

Problems with my T5

My Palm T5 has always had trouble hotsyncing. But for some reason it is really bad right now -- my computer just does not recognize the device.

According the tech support articles at Palmone, I should uninstall Palm Desktop, and reinstall the latest versions. Per their instructions, I also made sure that the uninstall process removed the INF files for the device.

I continued following their instructions, and clicked on their link to download the latest software. Guess what? It's not available. I have to order a new CD for $15. This is absolutely ludicrous. The T5 software is only useful to an real owner of the T5. There is no piracy issue here, just corporate greed.

Palm's own troubleshooter directed me to this thread on their forums of other people frustrated by the same issue. I'm slowly losing my faith in Palm . . . .
