Turn off that TV - Remote

This guy invented a remote to turn off any T.V. with the idea of turning off T.V.'s in bars and restaurants. Two thoughts: don't do that in Boston & if it gets really popular I'm going to start selling a T.V. turn on remote. Of course without the channel changing functionality you might get stuck with some awful programming.

I suppose you could just make a limited functionality remote {power, volume, channel} that scrolls through most of the popular 200 codes - provided the codes do not contradict between models.
