BU Alumi Club

The old Bay Tower room in Boston is now the State Room thanks to the hands of fellow BU Alum Jim Apteker. The State Room is more a function hall than a restaurant but the view is the same. At lunch it is a members only restaurant, and BU alumni are all invited to join the club thanks to a shining BU endorsement.

My thoughts, granted it is BU style but why would BU endorse such a venue and why would they ask BU? Answer: The founder, in addition to being an alum, is a member of the executive board of the university's alumni association ... go figure, cronyism and school pride - I think I might become a member.
